Drained Hosts are an enemy type found in the Imagination Farms.

Summary

Drained Hosts are the sad end result of those who sign up to be used as human hosts for the Virtuality business, allowing their their minds to be used as sensory stimulus for those using the system of Virtuality. Drained hosts lack any sense of free will or carry anything of their former selves, more or less making them zombies. The Drained Hosts wander around the Imagination Farms deep below Rengkok City after the Angel machines spit them out deeming them useless they are either killed or kept as slaves and drones to the Sick Sisters.

Virtuality workers who earn their Karma by being a source of entertainment. Trapped and wired inside virtuality pods, their stimuli are transferred to clients as part of those real sensations of the virtual worlds.
Drained and powerless, these poor souls can be manipulated into anything. They pose no real danger individually, but can be overwhelming in swarms.

Combat

Drained Hosts are powerless individually, but their real threat comes from their sheer numbers and they will always attempt to swarm PUPPY in all directions to mob and kill him. The best counter is to carry the Hellfire flame thrower in order to kill them and burn the pile of bodies from where they spawn and above all never let them put PUPPY in a corner otherwise they will swarm him and kill him in mere seconds.
