Guards are corporate security forces working for Heaven.
Summary[]
The sharply dressed hired security force of Heaven hired out from the NagaShiwa corporation, they serve as the first enemies PUPPY fights after being awakened from his stasis by Wizard. They also work in tandem with the other security features such as the Sentry Turret and Homing Mines. They are encountered again in the final stages of the game however this time they have been given a serious overhaul in their weapons and abilities. Notably they are under the command of Chief Watayama and joined him in trying to stop PUPPY from reaching the BOSS.

A type of guard employed by the NagaShiwa Corporation. Recruited and trained to guard private and public spaces like civic buildings and corporate headquarters. They're often hired out for public events like concerts, plays, and festivals. Trained to be assertive yet polite, they will not hesitate to use deadly force if they are disobeyed or physically confronted.

Combat[]
As one would expect for the first enemy variants of the game, by Ruiner standards, Guards are fairly easy to deal with, wielding weaker slower weapons and having less accurate fire and slower movements; they tend to be enemies Puppy can win direct fire fights with if the Player is careful. However they tend to ally themselves with Homing Mines in combat which can disrupt the flow of combat. Regardless they have the most predictable fighting pattern of any humanoid enemy.
