Homing Mines are automated drones that seek out enemies and explode in their vicinity.

Semi-intelligent drone with a death wish. Will chase you around until it catches you and explodes. Will sometimes explode by itself due to the excitement overload. Still. It's dangerous, especially in groups.

Combat

Homing mines can be dealt with in a variety of ways, but generally requires timing or accuracy. Shooting them will cause them to explode, and weapons that push back enemies (even melee weapons) can get you out of the blast radius before they go off. Additionally, continuously dodging them until their counter reaches zero will cause them to self-destruct.

Trivia

• They act almost identical to the suicide bombers found in the Creeps and the Harpies and effectively stand in for them in factions that don't use those kinds of units.
