The KRIS SV-4 is a compact assault rifle. It becomes available during the tutorial section and remains relevant through much of the game.

Practicality

The SV-4 does fair damage in the early game but fires in bursts. This makes it good for taking out single targets, or very small group of weak targets, but limits its crowd control capabilities compared to some of the full-auto weapons. It is also one of the more accurate weapons, which may come in handy for keeping distance from the target.

Though more and more a thing of the past, firearms still provide some utility, especially on a low-tech street level. The KRIS-SV-4 compact assault rifle is the younger, more vicious brother of the standard submachine gun favored by the police. It's extremely powerful and accurate and the depleted uranium bullets penetrate the toughest armor and projected energy shields with shocking ease.

Trivia

• The KRIS SV-4 is very similar in appearance to the real-world KRISS Vector, and its description implies that it is an AR derivative/descendant of it.
