The SUBZERO is a heavy beam weapon that freezes enemies caught in its blast.
Practicality[]
Upon hitting an enemy, the SUBZERO's beam begins to deal damage and slow them down. If the beam is kept on the enemy they will freeze completely shortly after. The beam takes a moment to charge before firing and, given that it's a beam, is difficult to use effectively against spread-out groups of enemies but is fairly effective against single opponents. Among the "elemental" beam weapons, SUBZERO is the least effective one, taking the longest to kill anything.

Part of a research program conducted by Arms Tech to create new elemental-based weapons. When properly charged, the Subzero launches a cloud of hyper accelerated nitrogen droplets, instantly covering and freezing any matter in comes in contact with.
